Corporate Social
Responsibility
The Murugappa Group has a collaborative approach for sustainable,
responsive and impactful social initiatives, with focus on key areas like
Healthcare & Education. The various activities of the Group are undertaken
by the AMM Foundation (the CSR arm of the Group), the Shri AMM Murugappa
Chettiar Research Centre (MCRC) and through Group companies.
It is a matter of pride that CSR is actively driven by employees and carried out
in a thorough and professional manner.

AMM Foundation is known for its community-friendly initiatives in the domains of Education, Healthcare, Environment and Sport. Currently, the Foundation manages 5 hospitals, 4 schools and 1 polytechnic college. The Foundation has been working towards the betterment of the communities it is involved in for over 100 years.

research and ideation. The Centre is a huge driver of science and
technology applications for rural development. It works in the areas
of non-conventional energy, eco-technology, food and nutritional
supplements, plant tissue culture and organic agriculture.
